US President Joe Biden, who landed in Tel Aviv after the deadliest attack on a civilian hospital in Gaza, held a joint press briefing with Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu and accused “other team” responsible for the airstrike that killed at least 500 people and children. Although he did not name “Hamas” for the attack, it was obvious he pointed fingers at the militant group.
“The explosion at al-Ahli hospital in Gaza appears to have been caused by Gazan terror groups and not Israel,” said Biden. “I am deeply saddened and outraged by the explosion at the hospital in Gaza yesterday. And based on what I’ve seen, it appears it was done by the other team, and not you,” the US President told Netanyahu.
'I came here for a simple reason…': Biden
“There are a lot of people out there who are not sure,” he added.
While boasting about the morale of the war-torn country, the US President said America and Americans always stand beside Israel and added he personally came to Tel Aviv to make the US's stand clear.
“I wanted to be here today for a simple reason: I want the people of Israel and the people of the world to know where the United States stands…. I wanted to personally come and make that clear,” stressed Biden.
Biden noted that the atrocities committed by Hamas were not “imaginable” amid reports of children being burned in front of their parents and vice-versa. The US President also reiterated Netanyahu's stand for Hamas and said the “Gaza-based militant organisation is now ISIS”.

Meanwhile, responding to Biden's statement on the hospital attack, the Israeli PM clarified that the defence forces have already asked civilians to relocate themselves to safer places. Netanyahu underscored that Tel Aviv will bring back the hostages if it gets the support of America.
“We have asked them (civilians) to move to safer areas. We will continue to work with you Mr President to ensure that the minimal requirements are met and we will continue to work together to get our hostages out. The road to victory will be long and hard. Burt united in purpose and with a deep sense of justice and the unbreakable spirit of our soldiers and our people, Israel will prevail,” said Netanyahu.
