ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND CS2 Asia Cup 2023 is making a comeback after a hiatus of one year. It is scheduled to take place from 26th to 28th January 2024 featuring a total prize pool of $50,000 USD.
The tournament is scheduled to take place at the Perfect World Esports Center in Shanghai, China, with teams from several regions across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) including China, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Mongolia, Middle East, and more competing in it.
Here are all the teams competing in ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) Asia Cup 2023.

This is going to be the first time that ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND hosts a Counter-Strike 2 tournament which makes its return a bit more special for teams, players, and fans.
Since the inception of its first-ever tournament back in 2016, eXTREMESLAND has been striving for perfection every year and has successfully hosted four events of the competition to date.
Over the years, it has witnessed a constant rise in terms of scale and influence, attracting a wider audience and appeal from professional players from across the APAC region.
A total of eight teams will be competing in the ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND CS2 Asia Cup 2023 including two direct invites and six participants who would have to claim a spot through their regional qualifiers.
The regional qualifiers will be held for China, Mongolia, United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam, through which a total of six teams will qualify for the main tournament.

Five out of the eight teams have been announced for ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND CS2 Asia Cup 2023 and more will be revealed in a few days.
The two remaining teams that will qualify through the Chinese qualifier will be announced on 24th December. However, there is no information till now about when the second direct invite will be revealed.
As for the other teams, they are all confirmed and set for the main event which will take place in front of a live audience in Shanghai, China.
The ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND CS2 Asia Cup 2023, which covers multiple countries and regions across APAC, will participate in an overseas invite-based format this year, acting as a warm-up for the upcoming ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND CS2 Open 2024. This undoubtedly presents a great opportunity for many talented players to enter the esports stage.
It will be interesting to see how teams perform in this tournament and who claims the throne to be crowned as the champion amongst some of the best CS2 teams that Asia-Pacific has to offer.
