The Shri Lakshminath Ji temple in Jaisalmer witnessed vibrant Holi celebrations with devotees offering prayers and smearing colors in a traditional manner. Temples across Varanasi, Mathura, and Ayodhya saw thousands gather for devotional bhajans, cultural performances, and joyous color play.
Cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bangalore are filled with enthusiastic revelers drenching each other in gulaal, water balloons, and colored powders. Music and dance are an essential part of Holi celebrations, with Bollywood Holi parties adding to the festive energy.
BSF personnel stationed at border outposts celebrated Holi by exchanging colors and sweets, reinforcing their spirit of camaraderie and dedication to the nation. Deputy Commandant Pratap Singh stated, “When the entire nation celebrates, we stand together, ensuring the safety of our people.”
