अमिताभ बच्चन को बॉलीवुड का मेगास्टार यूं ही नहीं कहा जाता है. उन्होंने एक से बढ़कर एक फिल्में दी हैं. अमिताभ बच्चन एक समय में बॉलीवुड के सबसे ज्यादा फीस लेने वाले एक्टर थे. इंडस्ट्री के बड़े निर्माता-निर्देशक से लेकर हीरो और हीरोइन ने उनके साथ काम किया है. अमिताभ बच्चन आज से 47 साल पहले लाखों रुपये में फीस लेते थे, लेकिन क्या आप जानते हैं कि एक एक्टर ऐसा भी था, जिसने उनके साथ फिल्म में काम किया और उनसे डबल फीस भी ली.
इस एक्टर का नाम विनोद खन्ना है. अमिताभ बच्चन और विनोद खन्ना ने एक साथ कई फिल्मों में काम किया है. पर्दे पर यह जोड़ी काफी हिट भी रही थी. इन दोनों एक्टर ने साल 1976 में फिल्म हेरा-फेरी में भी साथ काम किया था. इस फिल्म में अमिताभ बच्चन और विनोद खन्ना एक ठक और चोर होते हैं. फिल्म हेरा-फेरी का निर्देशन प्रकाश मेहरा ने किया था. फिल्म में अमिताभ बच्चन ने विजय और विनोद खन्ना ने अजय का रोल किया था. अजय का रोल करने के लिए एक्टर ने मेकर्स से मोटी फीस ली थी.
निर्देशक प्रकाश मेहरा ने सबसे पहले विनोद खन्ना को अजय का किरदार निभाने के लिए कहा. लेकिन खन्ना ने कहा कि वह फिल्म में तभी काम करेंगे जब उन्हें अमिताभ बच्चन की फीस से एक लाख रुपये ज्यादा फीस दी जाएगी. विनोद खन्ना की इस शर्त को प्रकाश मेहरा ने मान लिया था. इस तरह अमिताभ फिल्म हेरा-फेरी के लिए 1.5 लाख रुपये और विनोद खन्ना को 2.5 लाख रुपये लिए थे. यह फिल्म जब पर्दे पर आई तो हर बार की तरह अमिताभ बच्चन और विनोद खन्ना की जोड़ी ने दर्शकों के दिलों को जीत लिया. फिल्म हेरा-फेरी सुपरहिट साबित हुई.
